CALL TO WORSHIP
Our help is in the name of the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.
If it had not been for God, who was on our side — let Pleasant Community Church now say:
If it had not been for God, when our enemies attacked us, they would have devoured us.
If it had not been for God, who was on our side — let Pleasant Community Church now say:
The flood would have swept us away; the torrent would have gone over us.
Blessed be God, who delivered the people of long ago, and us, from slavery and oppression!
If it were not for God, alive and active, here and now,
We would know only darkness, chaos and despair.
Blessed be God, who delivers us!

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us; and lead us not
into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the
Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
