Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
By his great mercy he has given us a new birth into a living hope
through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
In this we rejoice, even if now for a little while we have
had to suffer various trials.
Although we have not seen him, we love him; and even though
we do not see him now, we believe in him and rejoice with an
indescribable and glorious joy.
Come, let us worship God!

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
